Moe's Performance High Performance Truck (NSR No Springs Required) cam was designed to be a budget friendly upgrade for the everyday driver that is looking for a big boost in tq in the low-mid range without the need for extra supporting upgrades such as Headers, Gears, or higher stall tq converters. Cam Phaser Limiter, Non MDS Lifters, and upgraded pushrods are required with this cam

While this cam is designed to work with the factory valve springs, we do recommend installing a fresh set of factory 5.7 springs if your engine has more than 50,000 miles.

The HPT NSR cam has a very noticeable chop at idle to give you that aggressive cam sound that we all love.

5 of 5 2014 ram cam/lifter replacement December 11, 2023

Did all options available and decided to do the work myself after making a phone call to Moe’s, fast shipping, replaced cam, lifters, pushrods, phaser, replaced all gaskets, MDS delete, spark plugs and current logged my 2nd data run to send to Hemifever for the tune. Once I got back my first tune I was able to start and drive no problem, real good idle sound to it with the Corsa exhaust. Definitely would do again, the stock #5 lifter started shaving my cam down so this was a great upgrade, thanks!

Went with this cam as it fit my setup better with a stock converter. ‘17 CC, lifted on 35’s. Nice bump in torque and pulls harder up top. It also has a nice chop at idle…same as the video. I opted to replace my orig springs as the motor had 89k on it at the time. Deleted MDS and new lifters and pushrods as well. Moe’s typical lightning fast shipping and his advice are always awesome!
