Moe's Performance High Performance Track PLUS (HPT+) cam was designed for the everyday drivers that also want to put up impressive times at the dragsrtip. This cam is currently in Hemifever's 2017 Ram 1500 and has run a best of 11.80 @ 113MPH in the 1/4 mile with no boost or nitrous. While this is a beast of a cam for the Naturally Aspirated guys, it was also designed to work very well with nitrous as well. Hemifever's 2017 has also gone 7.02 @ 98mph so far in the 1/8th mile on a 150 shot.

For the 5/6 speed trucks that are planning to take your truck to the track, we do recommend 4.56 gears, a 3400 stall tq converter, and Hemifever custom tuning to see the full potential of this cam. For 8sp trucks, we recommend a 3.55 or 3.92 gear, 2800+ stall tq converter, and a Hemifever custom tune to get the best results at the track.

Cam Phaser Limiter and Cam Install Kit are required with this cam. Non MDS Lifters and upgraded pushrods are not required, but they are highly recommended for best performance and reduced valvetrain tick.

The HPT+ cam has a very noticeable chop at idle when paired up with longtube headers and a good tune.

Moe's Performance High Performance Track (HPT) cam was designed for the daily drivers that want to use their truck everyday and still drag their friends at the track. This cam is not only going to give you tire shredding torque down low, but it also screams all the way up to 6400rpms for you racers. This cam has gone 12.3's in a N/A crew cab 8sp Ram and 12.4's in a N/A 5sp R/T. For the 5/6 speed trucks that are planning to take your truck to the track, we do recommend 3.92 or higher gears, a 2600+ stall tq converter, and Hemifever custom tuning to see the full potential of this cam. For 8sp trucks, we simply recommend a 3.55 or 3.92 gear and a Hemifever custom tune to get the best results at the track...Higher stall tq converter is not needed for this cam on the 8sp trucks, but it does not hurt either. Cam Phaser Limiter and Cam Install Kit are required with this cam. Non MDS Lifters and upgraded pushrods are not required, but they are highly recommended for best performance and reduced valvetrain tick.

The HPT cam has a mild idle...enough chop to know the cam is there, but not so rowdy that you cant drive it everyday.

Moe's Performance Xtreme Track Performance cam is designed for the guys that want to go all out, and run the fastest ET these trucks are capable of in the 1/4 mile. This is the cam that we have in our 2011 Ram shop truck which is the fastest N/A 5/6sp 5.7 Ram truck to date, and the first N/A 5.7 Ram to make an 11 second N/A pass. While this cam is perfectly streetable for the daily drivers, it is recommended that you run 4.56 gears, 3400+ stall tq converter, longtube headers, and custom tuning to see its full potential. We also recommend this cam for the lighter regular cab trucks as the power curve is a little high in the rpm range for the heavier 4 door trucks. Cam Phaser Limiter, Cam Install Kit, and Non MDS lifters are required with this cam.

The Cam Phaser Limiter is a precision made spacer that installs into the cam gear’s oil chambers.
This spacer takes up excess volume that would normally be used by the factory cam gear for movement.

By installing cam phaser limiter, the cam design window opens up, allowing you to install big, powerful camshafts with safe piston to valve clearances. At the same time, by keeping up to 18 degrees of movement available, all of the wide-open throttle benefits of the cam phasing can still be retained.

The normal maximum retard the cams see at wide-open throttle is only around 9 degrees with factory programming.
