5 of 5 Nice deep rumble August 24, 2023

After I ordered I was contacted by Moe stating he was out of stock of the polished tips version but he would ship out the black tip version for the same price if I wanted. I decided to go with the black tip version and installed myself. Install wasn’t bad but since the pipes are painted they were a little more difficult to slip on. Did have an issue with one of the clamps spinning the back side of the bolt that’s supposed to stay in place so it wouldn’t tighten. Got that fixed luckily and after driving with this exhaust for a couple days I’m happy with it. It’s a little louder than I was expecting but actually very quiet going 70 mph in 8th gear. To me it sounds like your classic truck exhaust, deep rumbling at idle and throaty when you get on it. Personally on removing the stock exhaust I just cut it out. That’s gonna be the easiest way and use WD-40 to grease up the hangers.
