Why change the complete cat-back when the factory dual tailpipe system is already made of a 409 grade of stainless steel?

#2 DOD18M = Moderate.

The mufflers are made of a 409 grade of stainless steel as are the extension tube's. They are also mandrel bent to maximize exhaust flow.

All hardware and exhaust clamps are included for a trouble free install *(ALL PARTS ARE AMERICAN MADE)

This muffler retrofit is something that can be done by the casual mechanic & requires No welding at all. Install can be done in 2 hrs using air tools.

There is no need to pay a "Muffler Shop" to do a job like this with a universal muffler and substandard aluminized tubing when you can get a complete Mufflex 409 SS tube kit that has been engineered to fit your truck without issues.

And there is no need to purchase a complete "catback" when it is not necessary and not be able to have a muffler choice in what sound you want from your truck.

Once again, a simply phone call with Matt about headers led me into what muffler I had recently purchased only to be informed by Matt that I could save money with purchasing this muffler and it’s a better “open” design to allow air to easily flow through the muffler. This muffler is exactly what I was looking for, low to no drone at highway speeds but an aggressive enough sound at low-end speeds to know it’s there. I’m looking forward to the sound when I install the headers. Also, I’ve seen an increase with MPG going up. So in the long run, this will pay for itself.

First time I tried to order this, COVID said no! But now that I have installed it and test drove the truck, I can say I love it and it was worth the wait. It produces a nice low-mid growl that isn't obnoxious but still sounds mean! Definitely recommend

Really the entire process was exceptional. Easy to use website and fast shipping from Moes. Ease of install was nice and finish was on par as well. Kept a low rumble at idle and throaty when on the gas but no resonance in the cab. Was just what I was looking for. Thanks again.
