EDIT:  After a few weeks of use, I'm becoming more unhappy with this step.  It has a lot of give.  I would prefer had more time been put into the mount so that the step would be centered on it, instead of only supported on one side.  It still makes it easier to get in and out of the bed, but it just doesn't feel solid.
